Permits have been pre-filed for a 14-story hotel that will stand 185 feet tall and yield 58,900 square feet. The building will have 37 guest rooms (with floors 11-14 each being occupied by a single hotel room) and there will be eating and drinking establishments on the ground floor, second floor, and floors eight through ten. The demolition permits still have yet to be filed for the existing historic Romanesque Revival building and an estimated completion date has not been announced yet.

Features:This 213,000 sf hotel in Midtown Manhattan consists of 28 stories and 300 keys. The building is also fitted with a fitness center, meeting rooms, several restaurants and a two story dining hall. The mechanical systems consist of a state of the art central plant for a four pipe system. It includes two gas-fired absorption chiller/heaters, domestic hot water waters with condensing technology and energy recovery systems for the ventilation of all the guestrooms.
The building is expected to receive NYSERDA incentives for its major energy savings.
